After the untimely death of former gujarat Chief minister Vijay Rupani, his body will be handed over to the family on 16th June. So far, 97 dna matches have been confirmed in this big accident and 35 bodies have been handed over to their families.
Rupani's name will also be included in the list today, whose bodies are being handed over to the family for proper last rites. There is a wave of mourning across gujarat and the last journey is being organized in a very dignified manner in honor of Rupani.

Vijay Rupani's son rishabh Rupani expressed deep grief on this occasion in a statement given to ANI and expressed condolences to all the affected families. He said, "In this hour of grief, I pay tribute to all the deceased on behalf of our Rupani family. This is a sad time not only for our family but also for 270 families."
He said, "I pray to god to give salvation to all the souls. I thank all the health staff, civil defense, police force, RSS workers from my heart. The relief and rescue work done during this time is commendable. I thank everyone including prime minister Narendra Modi, home minister amit shah for their wholehearted support."
The last journey will begin after reaching rajkot airport
The route of this last journey to be held today has already been decided. At 11 am, Rupani's family will leave for ahmedabad Civil Hospital from their residence in Gandhinagar. The body will be formally accepted at the hospital at 11.30 am. The journey from there to the airport will be between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. Rupani's body will be airlifted from ahmedabad to rajkot at 12.30 pm. After reaching rajkot airport by 2 pm, preparations for the last journey will begin.
