To what extent double standards are adopted in Pakistan's foreign policy and how it is constantly diplomatically deceiving its neighbouring country iran, a big example of this came to light on saturday when the government of pakistan gave the country's second highest civilian award 'Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military)' to the head of the US Army's Central Command (CENTCOM), General Michael E. Kurilla.
This award was given to the head of the US Army's Central Command by Pakistan's President Asif ali Zardari in a special ceremony held at the President house Aiwan-e-Sadar in Islamabad, in which all the top leaders and military officers of pakistan were present. Therefore, questions are being raised on Pakistan's diplomacy on giving General Kurilla the country's second highest civilian award and it is being called a diplomatic deception with Iran.
Pakistan stabs iran in the back
Last month, when the US army attacked Iran's nuclear facilities, pakistan opposed and condemned the US attack by showing itself to be standing with iran, but now, just a month later, the same pakistan has given its country's second highest honor to the head of the US Army's Central Command, General Kurilla, who not only commanded the attacks on iran but also played an important role in planning the attacks on Iran.
Why did pakistan give this honor to General Kurilla?
In a statement issued by the Pakistani army, it was said that Pakistan's second highest civilian honor is being given to the head of the US Army's Central Command, General Kurilla, because General Kurilla played an important role in taking the long-standing defense cooperation between pakistan and America to new heights. He also contributed to increasing cooperation against terrorism and strengthening strategic defense relations. The Pakistani army said in its statement that General Kurilla's leadership expanded mutual understanding, joint operations and intelligence partnership between the pakistan army and the US Central Command.
