While giving his speech in the lok sabha, PM Modi said, "On the night of 9 May, the Vice President of America (JD Vance) tried to talk to me. He was trying to talk to me for an hour, but I was having a meeting with army officials, so I could not pick up his call. He called me three-four times. After this, when I called him back and asked what the matter was, the Vice President of America (JD Vance) told me that pakistan is going to launch a big attack on India. To this I replied that if pakistan has such an intention, then it will cost them a lot."
He said, "I had told the Vice President of America that if pakistan attacks, then we will respond with an even bigger attack. We will respond to bullets with shells. After this, on the night of 9 May and in the morning of 10 May, we destroyed the military power of Pakistan."
