Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple is a hindu temple of Lord Vishnu. It is run by a trust headed by the royal family of Travancore. It is located in thiruvananthapuram, kerala and is surrounded by many mysteries. It has a gopura that was built back in 16th century. The principal diety Padmanabhaswamy can be seen in the Anantha Shayana posture.

The temple is said to be the richest temple in the world with enormous assets in its name. There are 6 rooms in the temple that were named by supreme court as A, B, C, D, E, and F. In 2011, 5 of the rooms were opened by the committee appointed by the SC.

The seven-member committee have discovered at a depth of 20 feet underground approximately $22 billion in treasure that includes golden idols, golden elephants, and idols wearing 18 foot diamond necklaces and innumerable gold coin bags. Also, the ceremonial costumes also include 66 pound gold coconut shells studded with rubies and emeralds.

The vault B is not opened as it has two enormous Cobras rumored to be protecting the vault from outside. There is a belief that whoever opens the hidden chamber will suffer disastrous death. Also, it was said that most of the treasure went missing from the vaults.
