The international Cricket Council has released the Women's icc t20 Rankings. In which India's Deepti Sharma has made a big leap. Deepti has now moved to third place in the Women's t20 Bowling Rankings. Apart from this, she has also come in third place in the ranking of all-rounder players. Deepti has benefited from the rankings for her impressive performance in the ongoing Women's Asia Cup 2022 in Sylhet, Bangladesh.

She took three wickets against pakistan while two wickets each against bangladesh and Thailand. Deepti surpassed South African fast bowler Shabnim Ismail in the rankings. While ahead of them are england spinners Sophie Ecclestone and Sarah Glenn. Sophie is in first place and Sarah in second. Deepti had secured the third position in the ranking for the first time in november 2019 and now in 2022 she has shown this feat again. She also managed to improve one place in the batsmen's list during this period. Deepti is ranked 35th in the Women's t20 batting rankings. Whereas in the list of all-rounder players, she has left Australia's Ashleigh Gardner at 35th position.

In the bowlers' rankings, India's Renuka Singh has improved three places to 8th position, Sneh Rana has improved 30 places to 15th and pooja Vastrakar has improved seven places to 28th. However, Shafali Verma has slipped two places to 8th place in the list of batsmen.
