The indian team last played a Test match in dominica in 2011. rahul dravid was also a part of Team india in that match. The indian team will begin the Test series against the west indies at Windsor Park, Roseau, dominica from July 12. Team india played their last Test match here in 2011. virat kohli along with current head coach and former indian captain rahul dravid was also part of Team india in that match. virat kohli himself revealed this.
kohli shared a picture with head coach rahul dravid through his official social media and revealed that only two players were part of the squad in the last Test played in Dominica. kohli captioned it, “Only two players were part of the last Test played in dominica in 2011. Never thought this trip would bring us back here in different capacities. Thank you very much.”
The indian team then played a 3-Test series against the west indies, in which the third Test was played in dominica and this match ended in a draw. rahul dravid scored 5 runs in the first innings of this match and 34 runs in the second innings. virat kohli, who played only one innings, managed to score 30 runs.
india won the series 1-0 with a draw in the third Test. It was Virat Kohli's debut Test series. virat kohli made his Test debut in the first match of this series. This was the last time virat kohli and rahul dravid played together in a Test series in the West Indies.
