India's wicketkeeper-batsman dhruv Jurel wrote a heartfelt letter to head coach rahul Dravid, referring to him as a great man. In rajkot and then Ranchi, Jurel helped india defeat England, capping off a brilliant start to his Test career. Jurel wrote a letter to Dravid on the social networking platform "X" ahead of the fifth and final Test at Dharamsala, praising him as a great man. In addition to coaching Jurel's senior national team, Dravid oversaw his Under-19 world cup winning team.

Jurel wrote on 'X', "Junior to Senior but always a student of this great man." When Dravid was India's head coach in 2020, Jurel was a member of the team that won the Under-19 World Cup. Ahead of India's third Test match against England, at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in rajkot, experienced wicketkeeper dinesh karthik presented him with his Test cap.

Despite having a strong start to his Test career, Jurel was unfortunate to be removed at 46, missing out on his first Test fifty. But he made an impression in the fourth Test at rajkot, when he was named Player of the Match for his outstanding two-inning batting effort.
