It is known that Jesse Lee Soffer will leave Chicago PD in season 10. Given its lengthy run on television, the One Chicago series has experienced many cast departures. It has lost a number of significant characters over the years, including some actors who have been on Chicago PD since the show's inception. Fortunately, the police drama has been able to keep its primary Intelligence unit together for a time, and Hank Voight still maintains a firm command of his squad.

When Chicago PD and the rest of One Chicago return with new episodes in september 2022, Chicago PD will begin its landmark year. Filming has been ongoing for some time, and a number of behind-the-scenes photos and videos have surfaced online to give fans a sneak peak at what to anticipate when Intelligence makes a comeback to television. However, the loss of an original cast member will cause a significant loss for Chicago PD season 10 as well.
