WhatsApp working now after two hours glitch...
WhatsApp services were disrupted in many parts of India. Thousands of users were unable to send or receive messages. Meta has solved the problems being faced by WhatsApp. Now once again whatsapp is working normally. It has been informed by whatsapp that in some cities, partial restoration of whatsapp services has started. Earlier, at around 1.15 pm, it was informed by whatsapp that some people are facing problem in sending messages. It was said on behalf of Meta that we are working to restore whatsapp for everyone as soon as possible.
What problems did people face?
Users using whatsapp suddenly appeared unable to send and receive messages after 12 noon today. Shortly after this, the hashtag 'WhatsApp Down' started trending on socialmedia. Many users took to share funny memes on this issue.
After this, a Meta company spokesperson said in a statement, "We are aware that some people are having problems sending messages and we are working to restore whatsapp for everyone as soon as possible."
In many areas of India, whatsapp services were interrupted, making it impossible for thousands of users to send or receive messages. The downdetector heat map showed that whatsapp users in major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and kolkata were affected by the disruption in services.
