At present, there is no official information on whether this change will happen only in the iphone 16 Pro or whether the company will do the same in the iphone 16 Pro Max. The report says that apple is going to make changes in the camera and lens which will differentiate the new model from the old models. The company can use advanced molded glass lenses in Pro models, which will directly change the design of the smartphone. The report says that the lenses will be smaller and provide better optical zoom which will help users in taking better photos.
Furthermore, the report also claims that the change will only replace the telephoto lens which is an interesting thing as this is currently the only photographic difference between the iphone 15 Pro and iphone 15 Pro Max. Currently, the iphone 15 Pro has 3x optical zoom compared to the main lens, while the Pro Max supports up to 5x zoom due to the tetraprism present in the telephoto lens.
