IDC india Associate Vice President Navkendar Singh said, "According to our estimate, apple has reached the scale of production of about 40-43 million iPhones for use in the country and for export, which is 17-20 percent of its global shipments in 2024." He said that to double the production of iphone in india, 70-80 million units will have to be produced every year. This will strengthen the growing scope of the manufacturing ecosystem in the country. Apple's suppliers expect iphone exports worth around Rs 1.5 lakh crore in FY25, up from Rs 85,000 crore exports in FY24.
