📌 What Is an IFSC Code?
The IFSC (Indian Financial System Code) is an 11‑character alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies a bank branch for electronic transfers like NEFT, RTGS, and IMPS. It’s essential when adding beneficiaries or transferring money online.
📱 Step‑by‑Step: Find IFSC Code in the paytm App
1. Open the paytm App
Launch the Paytm app on your Android or iOS phone.
2. Go to Your Linked bank Account
- Tap on “Bank Accounts” or “Paytm Payments Bank” at the top or in the Profile/UPI & Payments section.
- If you haven’t added a bank yet, you’ll need to link one (enter account number, IFSC, etc.).
(Note: paytm Payments bank customers will immediately see bank details once logged in.)
3. view Account Details
Once you select your bank, look for account information/details.
Here you can see:
- Bank name
- Account number
- Branch name
- IFSC code
👉 paytm shows your IFSC code here so you don’t need to search elsewhere.
🔎 Alternative paytm IFSC Lookup Tool
If you want to find any bank’s IFSC code (not just your own), use Paytm’s IFSC Finder tool:
Visit the Paytm IFSC Code Finder page.
Select State → City → Bank → Branch
The corresponding IFSC code will be displayed instantly.
This is useful when sending money to a new account or checking details before a transfer.
