Airbus A340 plane lands on antarctica runway for the first time!!!

On the land of white antarctica, for the first time lands an Airbus plane A340. For the first time in history, a commercial plane has landed successfully in Antarctica. To pave way for tourism on the vast landmass of ice, earlier this month A340 planes has touched the ice runway.

The plane took off from the cape town of south africa on november 2nd flying around 4630 km to Antarctica. It made the first aviation by successfully landing on the runway which is covered with glacial ice said the aircraft's pilot Captain Carlos Mirpuri. This historic flight was operated by Hi Fly which is a boutique aviation company.
This chartered by Wolf's luxury adventure camp. This plane will be used to carry very small tourists and also scientists and cargo to the icy land of Antarctica. A sense of anxiety and tension was seen in the cockpit as it approached the runway. The runway should have special grooves in it which allows more friction.
If not, it would have slipped down due to its high supply of cargo. The glare from the ice made the pilots wear special eye gear. Captain Mirpuri managed to land safely and it took around three hours to settle all the cargos. antarctica doesn't have a special airport, it has only runways and landing strips for landing.
