
The stock market has a green start on the second trading day of the week i.e. on june 3. The Sensex climbed 307.38 points or 0.38 percent to reach the level of 81,681.13 at around 9:15 am. But, this gain could not be sustained for long. Shortly after, the BSE Sensex on the S&P fell by about 226.44 points to 81,147.31. Initially, the Nifty was trading at the level of 24,823.90 with a jump of 107.30 points i.e. 0.43 percent. But after that Nifty 50 fell by 45.05 points and it fell to 24,671.55 at 9:30 am.
Tata Steel shares rise
Among the stocks that have seen a rise today, Eternal has jumped 0.89 percent. Apart from this, mahindra & mahindra has seen a gain of 9.06 percent. IndusInd bank stocks rose 0.37 percent, while Tata Steel also went up 0.47 percent with positive signs. Apart from this, Tata Motors shares are also one of the five major gainers, whose shares have jumped 0.26 percent.
Along with this, adani Ports shares have seen a decline of 3 percent. Larsen & Turbo was also among the declining stocks today, whose shares slipped 1.35 percent. Bajaj Finance went down 1.31 percent while Hindustan Unilever went down 1.01 percent and Bharti airtel 0.99 percent.
Asian market rises
A day earlier, on Monday, the stock market saw a decline. Sensex slipped 77.26 points or 0.09 percent to close at 81,373.75 while NSE's Nifty 50 also closed 34.10 points or 0.14 percent down at 24716. If we talk about Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei jumped 0.43 percent while Topix and Kospi also saw a slight increase. ASX 200 saw a jump of 0.67 percent. South Korean stock market is closed due to Voter's Day. Earlier, on Monday, S&P 500 saw an increase of 0.41 percent, Nasdaq Composite 0.67%, Dow Jones saw an increase of 0.08%.
