1. Understand the Eligibility Criteria

  • Should have space/ shop that meets the Janaushadhi Kendra guidelines.

2. Gather Required Documents

You’ll need to submit documents such as:

  • Proof of identity (Aadhaar card, PAN, Voter ID, etc.)
  • Educational qualifications (Pharmacy degree or diploma)
  • Shop ownership or rental proof
  • Bank account details
  • Passport-size photographs

3. Visit the Official PMBJP Portal

  • Go to the official PMBJP website: janaushadhi.gov.in
  • Look for the “Apply for a Kendra” section under the Entrepreneur Corner.

4. Fill Out the Online Application

  • Complete the online application form with accurate personal, educational, and business details.
  • Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.

5. Verification & Approval

  • Once submitted, your application will be verified by the Bureau of Pharma PSUs of india (BPPI).
  • They may inspect the premises to ensure compliance with guidelines.

6. Training & Onboarding

  • Approved applicants receive training on operations, inventory management, and medicine handling.
  • You’ll also be given initial stock and marketing support to start the Kendra.

7. Start Your Janaushadhi Kendra

  • Once all approvals are complete, you can officially open your Kendra and begin selling affordable generic medicines to the community.
