Chellamalla Suguna Kumari is back into news after 10 years in political circles. Suguna Kumari was elected as MP twice in 12th and 13th Lok Sabha from Peddapalli as TDP candidate. Two times she defeated mighty G. Venkata Swamy (KAKA). Rajendra Prasad, husband of Suguna Kumari was in touch with CBN. TDP President CBN was selected a lady doctor against Senior Congress leader KAKA at that time. CBN thinks there was nothing to lose if Suguna Kumari lost the election but she had created history if she defeats Venkata Swamy.
CBN was successful twice but she lost in 2004 general election against Venkata Swamy from same Peddapalli. After that she disappears from the politics and never tried for TDP ticket even in 2009 elections. Suguna Kumari name hearing again in 2014 general elections. Reportedly, she wants to contest again from Peddapalli in coming elections. This time Suguna Kumari seeks to contest from BJP but not TDP.
She may join in BJP very soon and will be its candidate from Peddapalli to counter Vivek. Vivek is the son of G. Venkata Swamy who is incumbent MP from Peddapalli. As per latest buzz, BJP leaders gave strong assurance to her in this regard. Suguna Kuamari name is remains in the history of Peddapalli if she vies with Vivek in the elections.
