Despite this, a conspiracy theory of American hand behind this earthquake is becoming very viral on social media. people are holding America responsible for this earthquake, which according to them, is very angry with turkey for stopping Sweden's entry in NATO. These people say that to punish turkey, the American has created an artificial earthquake through its project HAARP, which has caused devastation in Turkey. For this, efforts are also being made to prove their point by uploading different types of videos.
First let's know Project HAARP and can it create such havoc
HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program) is an American research center established in Alaska, which studies the ionosphere at the very edge of space up to about 400 miles above the Earth's surface. This ionosphere is responsible for the changes in the Earth's weather. That is why America is studying it. This project, running since 1990, does this study through a very powerful and very high frequency transmitter. In this, conclusions are presented by monitoring the properties and behavior of the ionosphere. Weather can be changed through this project, no such documentary evidence or claim has ever come to the fore. Scientists associated with this project have also said many times that it is not possible to bring any control over the weather through HAARP. Although HAARP has started some special experiments on a large scale in its new laboratory from october 2022, no mention of any capability like bringing artificial earthquakes has been revealed so far.
