The bollywood film industry occasionally finds it difficult to maintain its momentum. In contrast to the South, the distributors and multiplex associations need a film to be available on OTT platforms within an 8-week span. Unexpectedly, two upcoming tamil films will choose to run for eight weeks in order to increase their receipts in North India. The movies are Coolie and Thug Life.

In the past, a number of tamil films had the potential to do well at the box office, but none of them received support from the leading multiplexes.  As a result, tamil movies aren't doing as well as they could.  Coolie and Thug Life, however, have the power to completely alter the situation.

In order to secure quality multiplexes to exhibit their films, the producers are already considering their possibilities for an 8-week period. Naturally, there are great expectations because kamal haasan and mani ratnam are collaborating after nearly 40 years apart.  The first-time collaboration between Rajinikanth and director lokesh kanagaraj is also worth wagering on.

The Thug Life release window will be clarified by next week.  Furthermore, team Coolie is developing a strategy that benefits all stakeholders.  If given the proper release, the films will undoubtedly catch the interest of North indian moviegoers, as both the stars and the directors have built fan bases throughout the nation. On june 5th, 2025, Thug Life will be released, and on august 14th, Coolie.
