Komatireddy venkat Reddy, a senior congress leader and party member from the Bhongir parliamentary district, appears to be trying to get the party's top brass to fire him from the party, which would open the door for his defection to the Bharatiya Janata Party. After the upcoming assembly elections, which may result in a hung legislature, the congress party would ally with the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS), according to Komatireddy, who sparked uproar on Tuesday.

"This time, nobody will take home 60 seats. kcr lauded congress in front of the assembly. The party of congress is secular. A secular party, the BRS. With whom will kcr collaborate? Is it just us?" he asked. The remarks made by Komatireddy caused turmoil inside the party, with numerous senior members denouncing them and calling for the mp to be disciplined. Mallu ravi, a senior party official and vice president of the PCC, predicted that the congress will triumph with a sizable margin. Senior officials like Komatireddy, he argued, ought to avoid saying things like this because they can confuse party members.

The congress doesn't need to cooperate with anyone, ravi remarked. On march 1, the Bhongir mp also announced his own yatra in the region. He claimed that the Congress' top officials are unable to unite on a single stage. Only successful candidates ought to be given seats. Whether they are fresh or old doesn't matter," he said. Both the ruling BRS and the bjp overruled him and declared that their parties will win the next elections handily.
