In pakistan, former prime minister imran khan got a big relief on Friday. The Islamabad high court has granted bail to imran khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case. imran khan has got bail for two weeks. Earlier, the supreme court of pakistan had called the arrest of imran khan illegal in this case. The supreme court on thursday reprimanded the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and ordered the immediate release of Imran. The high court has given bail to imran khan in all the cases till May 17. During this, the police cannot arrest Imran.
After the bail of imran khan, the atmosphere in pakistan has again heated up. The cabinet has recommended prime minister Shahbaz Sharif to impose emergency in the country. The cabinet meeting has been called again at 4.30 pm.
Imran Khan reached the Islamabad high court amid tight security for the hearing of the Al Qadir Trust case, where the hearing was held in court number 3. During the hearing, Imran expressed the apprehension of arrest again in front of the judges. Meanwhile, supporters of pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) created a ruckus inside the court room. A special bench of Justice Mian Gul Hasan aurangzeb and Justice Taman Rifat Imtiaz was constituted to hear Imran's bail application.
