Nirav Modi's lawyer has told in UK court that he is affected mentally and is unstable and in this period if he is exiled to india and thrown behind bars in mumbai jail he would commit suicide inside the jail itself. Nirav Modi is one of those Diamond Merchants who had assets worth Crores and Crores and he hails from Gujarat. He has cheated 14000 Crores from punjab National bank and under that case, he was being hunted by the revenue department and CBI. 


Both the departments filed cases separately and started the inquiries and they found he was hiding in the UK and they immediately flew to london to catch him red-handed. Even the central government held talks with the britain Government and they were making mutual talks to bring Nirav Modi to India. british Government also granted permission to exile him and they asked for necessary documents to be submitted from the indian Government. 


But Nirav Modi appealed further in UK high court to cancel his exile permission and the lawyer who spoke in favor of Nirav Modi made some shocking comments that he will commit suicide if he is forced to go to india and the jail is also totally occupied with prisoners and he also mentioned the COVID spread. The judge has postponed the case until the next session and a verdict on Nirav Modi is expected.
