On september 9, the girl was reported missing from her home in Hyderabad's singareni Colony. The next day, her corpse was discovered wrapped in a bedsheet at the residence of a neighbour.

This tragedy has shaken the whole state and country. On the political front, all leaders, regardless of their political differences, are enraged and demand harsh penalties. Even the chief minister was scheduled to speak about the action plan in today's cabinet meeting.

Although telangana minister KT Ramarao has promised to find the guy who reportedly raped and murdered his six-year-old neighbour in hyderabad last week, he has failed to do so. Another minister, amid escalating indignation, predicted the accused "will be murdered in an encounter".

Pallakonda Raju, 30, the child's neighbour, has been named as the subject of a prize of 10 lakh announced on Tuesday. Seit a female was discovered dead in his home, he has been gone. Meanwhile, The body of rape suspect Raju was discovered on railway lines near Ghanapur station. The cops have yet to provide official confirmation.
