After being cast in karan Johar's multi-starrer historical drama Takht and the much-anticipated Dostana 2 starring Kartik Aaryan, janhvi kapoor created a huge buzz around town. Janhvi had began preparing for both of these highly anticipated ventures, whether it was by seeing Pakeezah, Mughal-e-Azam, or taking kathak training. Takht and Dostana 2 were both derailed, much to everyone's amazement. Janhvi recently spoke out about it, calling it "heart wrenching."


"It's sad," Janhvi remarked in an interview with a leading media, "particularly I think for me since I have a habit of imagining, fantasising, visualising and all of these things." In fact, just two days ago, I was expected to be signed on for a film that I was very thrilled to do, but I believe it couldn't happen due to scheduling conflicts, or at least that's what I was informed.


But, in my imagination, I'd completed the film, worn all of my costumes, performed all of the comedy scenes, and had a great time. To be honest, it's heartbreaking, but it's a necessary part of the work. I feel like I won't be able to relax until I've signed the contract and am on set; in fact, Dostana and I were both on set at the same time. I don't think you should trust that till the picture is almost ready to be released.”
