The complete amount of marital financial support offered to persons with disabilities would be disbursed in cash during today's debate in the tamil Nadu Legislative assembly on the Disability Welfare Grant Request. chief minister Stalin made a number of significant announcements, including the formation of a high-level committee to monitor the identification and recruiting of suitable positions for a 4% disability employment reserve, as well as the details of the funding provided for it.

> The Welfare Department for the Handicapped will rehabilitate the buildings of 24 schools and institutions at a cost of Rs 2 crore.

Higher education courses in B.Com and PCA will be established for 60 deaf students in the southern areas at a cost of Rs. 18.06 lakhs.

> In chennai district, an additional district Disability Welfare office would be established at a cost of Rs.

> The initiative would be conducted with a budget of Rs. 5 crore to offer a Rs.25000 grant.


> The entire amount will be paid in cash, with the remainder going into a National Savings Bond, thanks to the existing financial help offered through the marriage Financial Assistance Scheme for the Disabled.

> A sewing machine is available for disabled people to learn about self-employment and develop in life. At a cost of Rs 1.48 crore, the current age limit will be raised from 45 to 60. This programme will benefit over 2100 transgender people.
