An 8-year-old boy fell into a 55 feet deep borewell in Betul, Madhya Pradesh. The rescue operation was going on for the last four days to save this child named Tanmay Sahu who fell on 6th December. When Tanmay was taken out, his condition was very bad. Once reached the hospital, doctors informed that the kid has died.
The rescue operation went on for 86 hours
To save Tanmay, work was first started at the local administration level. Later, the team of NDRF and SDRF took over the command of the rescue operation. To save Tanmay, a tunnel was made near the borewell. After this, Tanmay was taken out on saturday morning. Tanmay was taken to the hospital but he died. There is an atmosphere of sorrow in the family after Tanmay's death.
