Hyderabad celebrates as congress draws closer to winning...

Telangana may be about to see a change in government as the congress party gains 67 seats and pulls ahead. The BRS, led by K chandrasekhar Rao, has been in charge since the state's creation in 2014, however it is now trailing with a lead of 38. Now that the votes are being counted, congress is heading toward victory.

What predictions did the exit polls make?

According to exit polls that major television channels released on Thursday, telangana is expected to vote for the Congress. It is anticipated that the Grand Old party would get 63–73 seats, while the BRS party will win 34–44 seats. With only 4–8 seats, the saffron party is probably going to fall behind.

How did the 2018 telangana Assembly election turn out?  Telangana Rashtra Samithi won by capturing 88 seats in the 2018 telangana Assembly election. The telugu desam party (TDP) only managed two seats, while the congress came in second place with 19 seats. One seat was won by the bjp, seven by the All india Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), and one by independent candidates.

The anti-incumbency movement against the BRS helped the congress in Telangana; the bjp has to expand there, according to a PTI quotation from Union minister Pralhad Joshi.
