Siva Karthikeyan's Ayalaan has finally been released after facing lots of hurdles. The movie had a huge hype as it is directed by R.Ravikumar whose debut movie 'Indru Netru Naalai' was a huge time-travel success. siva karthikeyan lives in Poomparai peacefully with his mother Banupriya and his mother wants him to lead a good life and sends him to Chennai.

He encounters an accident with yogi babu and karunakaran and joins them. On the other hand, Villain sharad kelkar tries to find a 'Spark' that would eradicate chennai City. An Alien comes to chennai to take that spark and it joins hands with Siva Karthikeyan. However, a twist in the interval keeps us hooked despite the typical comedy and proceedings. But the second half completely falters and the curse of tamil cinema continues. Nevertheless, the enjoyable ride makes this festival remarkable.

Siva karthikeyan scores with his usual charm and he wins big. His body language and witty one-liners continue and even his dialogue delivery was a lot enjoyable. rakul preet singh is gorgeous and she has ample screen space. Her dubbing looks out of sync in most places. venkat Senguttuvan as an Alien wins our hearts and applause. Even though Sid's voice never suited the Alien, we need to thank the team for not opting for vijay sethupathi as the voiceover. AR Rahman's music is pretty average, but the background score reminds us of '2.O' in several places.

The Visual Effects Department deserves a special mention for being realistic in most places. However, they falter in a few areas as well. The bike chase scene is a perfect example as the graphics were like a serial level. ravikumar wanted to convey a message and the second half completely missed the fun ride.

Overall, Ayalaan is an Fun-Filled Enjoyable bumpy Ride
