Salaar, starring prabhas and Prashanth Neel, had a seven-day box-office run. The stage has been prepared for the actioner's OTT release, and here's an interesting report that's becoming popular on social media. According to sources, Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical OTT rights to Salaar, and the picture will be accessible for streaming on the site beginning february 16th. 

While it is well known that Netflix is Salaar's OTT streaming partner, there is no official news on the release date. However, according to social media rumors, the film will be available for streaming on february 16. prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar began off on a good note at the box office and continued the great run throughout the New Year weekend as well. But the film has slowed down. The film is said to have grossed over Rs 560 crores globally, which is a respectable figure in and of itself. 

However, the film is yet to become the highest-grossing South indian film at the box office, with two films ahead of it. Jailer and Leo are the two films ahead of Salaar, with apparently gross earnings of Rs 600 crore and Rs 590 crore, respectively.  Salaar's growth in the telugu market has halted, and the majority of its daily income come from the hindi belt. In any case, the tamil and kannada versions have made minimal contributions.
