The ongoing building of roads under the bridges (RuB) at Falaknuma and Uddamgadda is behind schedule, which is creating daily aggravation for thousands of commuters. The public should now be able to access both of the RuBs, which were intended to be finished last year. Despite many well-publicized inspections, the job hasn't been finished yet. The most unfortunate people are those who use the Uddamgadda route from Mailardevpally to Vattepally.

"I stay in Jalpally and travel an extra 6 kilometers on average to go to Vattepally. To get to Vattepally, I have to go to Chandrayangutta and then take Engine Bowli. Many issues are being caused by the excessive delay, Farooq Ali, a merchant operating a shop on Vattepally Road, said.

The area between Vattepally Nice Hotel and Mailardevpally Road is home to several residential colonies. The road at Uddamgadda has been closed for RuB construction, which has been causing issues for all the locals since it began more than a year ago. A neighbor named Hajira Bee claimed that the delay in the building work was causing a lot of problems for the locals, particularly the elderly and students. The old one in Falaknuma RuB was renovated and reopened with much enthusiasm. But because a parallel bridge is still under construction, traffic congestion persists here.
