The malayalam film industry got off to a great start in 2024. Abraham Ozler was launched in January, and both reviewers and spectators praised it much when it first came out. The decision to have the movie dubbed into telugu was made by the creators due to the film's immense success among telugu moviegoers. As a result, the film's rights were acquired by SS Karthikeya, the son of renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli.

Bramayugam, a horror thriller, is another malayalam film that captured the hearts of viewers on february 15. arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan, and Amalda Liz appear in it, which is directed by rahul Sadasivan. Attendees of film have been swarming the cinemas to witness this terrifying story unfold on the big screen. sithara Entertainments plans to distribute the telugu version of the film in andhra pradesh and Telangana.

Now, Manjummel Boys was made available on february 22. This is a survival drama based on actual events that happened in the caverns of kodaikanal Guna. Due to its association with Kamal Haasan's 1991 film Gunaa and the inclusion of the well-known song kanmani Anbodu Valanthan, the film also attracted tamil fans.

Premalu and Manjummel Boys are reportedly predicted to surpass the Rs 100 crore milestone. Prior to this, lucifer has earned more than Rs 100 crore in Pulimurugan (2018) and 2019 respectively. This demonstrates that malayalam film is creating engaging content that audiences beyond kerala are enjoying.
