In response to concerns raised about the quality, sanitary conditions, and adulterated food being served at several hotels, restaurants, and food centers in the city, the food safety officer of ghmc started conducting field inspections of the city's dining establishments to uncover any unlawful activities or adulteration. Teams of food safety officials examined several hotels in the city in light of Ramzan.

Customers who are concerned about their health have begun to complain about hotels that serve stale food, have extremely unsanitary settings, and occasionally have dead insects in their cuisine—particularly biryani. The food safety officials stood up and started conducting field inspections all around the city in response to the increasing number of complaints.

The food safety wing reports that the ghmc has requested all hotel management asking them to take preventative measures and guarantee that food is prepared by certain standards, maintain hygiene, and strictly adhere to the guidelines that the ghmc has issued to take all necessary public safety precautions.

Syed Shiraz, the food safety officer, stated that inspectors evaluated the food products sold by the establishments, particularly the street vendors, and informed them of the guidelines that must be followed to ensure quality and hygienic practices. The food vendors were instructed to prepare their goods in a hygienic manner and without compromising the quality.

In addition, the cops inspected roadside haleem merchants, hotels, and restaurants in light of the ongoing ramzan celebration. Hoteliers have been urged by the ghmc to adhere to the Food Safety Standards Act of 2006 regulations. When making haleem, they were told to follow all safety precautions and maintain good cleanliness. They were also told not to put haleem bhattis—brick and mud ovens used for producing haleem—on the upper levels of the structures. Hotel staff and management across the board were instructed to take safety precautions and guarantee a set of predetermined requirements for Haleem's preparation during the inspection.

To guarantee that the meat served in hotels is of high quality and health, proprietors of these hotels and restaurants will be required to make extra cleanliness measures and only purchase meat from locations that have been certified by the government. Food safety personnel received warnings from ghmc Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, who also gave them instructions to collect samples and inspect food products from all restaurants, hotels, and street food vendors. She gave the authorities instructions to produce a weekly report detailing the food safety officers' daily inspections and sample collection.
