Fans are thrilled about A.R. rahman and Maniratnam's long-awaited collaboration on Thug Life.  Maniratnam's longtime friend Kamal Hassan is also attending this time, and it appears that these three titans of the tamil (and beyond) business will be preparing something truly remarkable.  However, because of his amazing chemistry with Maniratnam, many are hoping that A.R. rahman will make amends with this movie.  Despite being a great hit, his final movie, Chhaava, received negative reviews for its soundtrack.

Rahman's Chaava composition was criticized for being both unsuitable and unremarkable.  People can't wait to see the old rahman again thanks to the partnership with Maniratnam and Kamal Hassan.  The music in Maniratnam's movies has always been outstanding and inspiring, and hopefully Thug Life won't be an exception.

Some claimed that rahman was no longer the musical icon he once was and that other composers could have done a better job with Chhaava.  The moment has come for the maestro to disprove them, and judging by the amount of attention Thug Life's recently released song "Jinguchaa" is receiving, rahman is expected to put in a lot of effort in this film. Let's wait for the movie to get released!
