We're here because she suggested it would be great for the press tour.  It turns out that Florence Pugh's leap from the world's second-tallest building during the production of Marvel's Thunderbolts* brought her more than just positive news.  Pugh now has a Guinness World Record alongside the stunt coordinator and her stunt double.

The jump was in the screenplay, according to the Thunderbolts* star, who is returning to her role from the Disney+ series Hawkeye and 2021's Black Widow.  According to Variety, the structure is the 2,272-foot-tall Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  However, as the day drew nearer, it appeared that the stunt and sequence would not take place.  Given how costly and challenging it is to obtain insurance for placing a celebrity of her stature in such a risky circumstance, it is not unexpected.  Pugh, however, was eager for it and would not accept rejection.

Thus, the actress from Yelena made a direct appeal to Kevin Feige.  According to an interview with Fandango, she "got on all the emails," went above and beyond, and used her best speak-to-the-manager skills to get the sequence approved.  The way Pugh calls herself, "FP," was going to be flung off a building or be damned!

As it happens, three distinct ladies have actually broken records!  Those women are herself, her double, and the female stunt coordinator, she clarified to Harper's Bazaar.  Pugh's double is Sarah Irwin, according to IMDb, and the stunt coordinator she's referring to is probably Heidi Moneymaker.  Fun fact: Her sister had previously served as Brie Larson's double for Captain Marvel, while Moneymaker was Scarlett Johansson's double in several Avengers films.
