The Royals is another romantic comedy that has returned to Netflix India.  Ishaan Khatter and bhumi pednekar make a gorgeous lead couple in the series.  According to the official trailer, the supporting cast is just as intriguing.  The Royals is created by pritish nandy Communications and depicts a love story between an ambitious entrepreneur and a guy from a royal family.  It is scheduled for publication on May 9, 2025, at the end of this week. 

Due to the highly anticipated personal scenes between Bhumi and Ishaan, who will be sharing the screen for the first time, the series has been generating a lot of talk.  During the series' marketing, Bhumi, who is renowned for her outstanding performances in movies like Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Badhaai Do, discussed the same topic. 

The actress also disclosed that she has attended intimacy workshops with ishaan khatter in one of her interviews.  She claims that the on-screen couple's reel chemistry was improved by spending more time together off-screen and getting to know one another.  The actress also mentioned how the aforementioned seminars helped to build a great deal of trust between her and Ishaan.  According to Bhumi's statements, shaan made her feel very at ease. 

Although viewers are thrilled to see another Desi drama on Netflix, some are worried about the premise once more.  Isn't it reminiscent of Khoobsurat by sonam kapoor and other traditional stories of middle-class and rich people falling in love, but with a more daring and contemporary twist?  Additionally, another television show that told the narrative of a royal family, Kull: The Legacy of the Raisingghs, was published a while ago but did not receive a lot of positive feedback from viewers.  It remains to be seen if fans would embrace the latest romantic comedy that is being released on the same premises. 

Notably, Netflix has been generating buzz about its indian content on a number of occasions throughout the years.  But in the majority of situations, the material has consistently been poor and unimpressive.  We'll have to wait and see if The Royals makes a good impression or if it ends up being yet another Netflix fiasco.
