Turkey's Celebi Aviation has said it will legally challenge the cancellation of its security and passenger service contract at nine airports in India.
When our security forces retaliated to the pahalgam terrorist attack, the West Asian country, turkey, provided drones and personnel to operate them in support of Pakistan. Turkish President Erdogan also called the Pakistani prime minister a 'brother' and an example of true friendship. Due to Turkey's open support for Pakistan, our country is severing all ties with that country.
Accordingly, the 'Civil Aviation Security Bureau' of our Civil Aviation Department has abruptly canceled all agreements with Turkey's 'Celebi Aviation' company. Through this company, 'Celebi Aviation' from turkey has been providing high-security services, passenger services, and cargo handling services at 9 major airports, including Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai, for more than 15 years. More than 10,000 people work in these. In this situation, the company announced yesterday that it will take legal action against the cancellation of the agreements.

Celebi Aviation has also stated that the various contracts for services such as security, passenger services, cargo handling, and provision of equipment, including boarding bridges at indian airports, are valid until 2036. However, our Civil Aviation minister Ram Mohan Naidu has said that the national interest and public safety are paramount and there is no room for negotiation in this regard.
