One of tamil cinema's best writers and filmmakers is C prem Kumar.  He directed two tamil films in eight years, Meiyazhagan and 96. These two movies are regarded as tamil cinema's greatest classics.  Additionally, he remade 96 in telugu as Jaanu, starring samantha and Sharwanand.  Prem Kumar typically spends more time working on the writing.  He spends two to three years writing a script. Following Meiyazhagan's success, he started working on his next project. 

He told Chiyaan vikram the basic plot, which he had prepared.  The highly regarded actor has nodded in agreement and requested that prem Kumar write the entire draft.  If all goes well, the shoot will start when vikram fulfills all of his obligations, and the narration could happen the following year.  Prem Kumar began working on the script because he is not in a rush right now.  He addresses human relations in his films and is one of the few filmmakers with a firm grasp of emotions. 

As per sources, trisha might be doing the female lead role and the duo of vikram and trisha were recently seen in Maniratnam's Historical movie 'Ponniyin Selvan'. Let's wait for the official updates.
