On june 5th, Thug Life, which was directed by mani ratnam and starred Kamal Haasan, silambarasan TR, and trisha in the major roles, would be released in theaters all over the world. Thug Life pre-booking opened yesterday in a number of tamil Nadu's major centers, however PVR and Inox chains have not yet opened.
 
Despite Thug Life's popularity, which saw about 3.5K tickets sold every hour on the Book My Show ticket booking platform, reports indicate that overall bookings are drab.  Following this, some industry insiders remarked that although if the film had a positive pre-release buzz, the pre-bookings in Chennai's main centers were drab, and even indian 2 had better pre-bookings than Thug Life.

Nonetheless, it is anticipated that the PVR and Inox chains would begin pre-booking by tomorrow, given there are still two days until the release.  Thus, the number of pre-bookings in tamil Nadu will rise starting tomorrow.  Nevertheless, people have high expectations for Thug Life, and it is unclear if they will be met and if it will become a great hit when it opens on june 5. watch out this space for more updates in this regard.
