In a post on X, a person named Akash Vats claimed that he felt some strange things during the journey. He said, "I was on the same flight for two hours before landing in Ahmedabad. I boarded from Delhi." Vats has also posted some videos related to his journey. This person said that the passengers around were using magazines kept in the seat pockets to fan themselves because the AC was not working. He said, "Along with the AC in the flight, the tv screens and the buttons to call the cabin crew were also not working."
This person later told a tv channel that the pilot of the plane had made an announcement related to the warning of facing turbulence while landing in Ahmedabad.

Earlier, Malik himself had told news agency ap that it appears that no one survived the plane crash. It was also feared that the death toll may be higher due to the plane crash in a residential area.
