Air Force Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla has created history by reaching International Space Station. Four more people are included in this team along with him. Yesterday PM Modi talked to Shubhanshu Shukla and Shubhanshu shared his experience of reaching space. He told that there is a lot of difference between earth and space and the biggest challenge there is sleep. He said that india is progressing very fast and the more our mind remains calm, the sooner we will understand things. As soon as humans reach space, many kinds of thoughts come to people's mind. The first question is that how do they communicate with earth from such a distance without any mobile tower. Let us find the answer to this question today.
Many changes have come due to science
There is no air of any kind in space and any kind of communication is difficult even in vacuum. There are neither any internet wires nor any cables laid there, so the big question is how do astronauts make calls or video calls to Earth from the space station in space. As science has progressed, many changes have taken place. In such a situation, scientists are present on the ISS all the time and the space agencies on Earth are in constant touch with them. At the same time, there are many satellites in space that take pictures from there and send them to Earth.
Communication from space and Earth is not easy
According to scientists, communication in space is not an easy task. Whether it is the rover on the moon, Artemis Mission or ISS, NASA's Space Communication and Navigation System (SCaN) works to contact everyone. Any communication network works with the help of transmitter-network-receiver. The transmitter converts that message into code and sends it through the network and the receiver receives it from there and decodes it. This method works on earth, but the problem in space is that aircraft fly at a speed of hundreds of kilometres per hour and hence it is not easy to communicate with them.
