Overview of the Incident
A white hyundai i20 exploded near Delhi’s red Fort on monday evening, 10 november 2025.
The blast shook the capital, killing 12 people and injuring 29.
Multiple agencies—Delhi Police, NIA, NSG, FSL—launched an intensive investigation.
Origin of the Exploded i20 Car
The car was traced back to Royal car Zone, Sector 32, faridabad, Haryana.
The shop’s former partner, Vakil Ahmed, confirmed it was sold by his ex-partner, amit Patel.
Patel, originally from Madhya Pradesh, lives in faridabad with his family and works with 3–4 associates.
Ahmed stated that he and patel parted ways in 2022 after starting the car business in 2015–16.
Patel’s phone has been switched off since news of the blast surfaced.
Suspicious Activities at Royal car Zone
During News’ visit to the office, investigators found:
Open liquor bottles
Playing cards
Scattered items indicating late-night parties or misconduct
These findings raised concerns about illegal or shady operations at the location.
Car Ownership Trail
The i20 (HR 26 7674) changed hands multiple times using fake IDs, a method often used in terror-linked operations.
Registered owner Mohammad salman from Gurugram was arrested.
Salman claimed he sold the car to Devendra, who resold it to another buyer in Ambala.
An ID associated with a person from Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir, was also linked to the vehicle, deepening suspicion of terror involvement.
