The chief minister has reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to supporting the education of persons with disabilities, stating that inclusive education remains a top priority of the administration.

Addressing a gathering at a recent event, the chief minister emphasized that education is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for empowerment, especially for children and students with disabilities. He assured that the government would continue to implement and strengthen policies that ensure equal access, opportunity, and dignity in the education system.

The chief minister highlighted various initiatives undertaken by the government to promote inclusive education, including the establishment of special schools, provision of assistive devices, scholarships, free educational materials, and improved infrastructure such as ramps, accessible classrooms, and transport facilities. He noted that special attention is being given to training teachers to cater effectively to the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.

Reiterating the government’s resolve, he said that no student should be deprived of education due to physical, sensory, or intellectual challenges. The administration, he added, is working closely with educators, parents, and experts to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The chief minister also stressed the importance of integrating students with disabilities into mainstream education, wherever possible, to foster confidence, independence, and social inclusion. He assured that adequate budgetary support would continue to be allocated to ensure the success of these initiatives.

Concluding his address, the chief minister stated that the government would remain a constant pillar of support for persons with disabilities, enabling them to achieve their full potential through quality education and equal opportunities.
