Narendra Modi stood in West bengal and declared, “Vote for bjp — I will keep the women of bengal safe.”

Bold words. Brutal reality check.

According to the latest NCRB crime data, the top 10 cities with the highest reported sexual assaults in india are almost entirely in BJP-ruled states or under central influence:

- delhi (BJP-controlled police)
- jaipur (Rajasthan – BJP)
- mumbai (Maharashtra – bjp alliance)
- indore (Madhya Pradesh – BJP)
- bhopal (Madhya Pradesh – BJP)
- gwalior (Madhya Pradesh – BJP)
- jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh – BJP)
- pune (Maharashtra – bjp alliance)
- Kota (Rajasthan – BJP)
- ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh – BJP)

These aren’t random cities. They’re the ones where bjp has been in power for years — promising exactly the kind of safety Modi is now selling to Bengal.

Meanwhile, Manipur continues to bleed in the corner, with women still paying the heaviest price in a conflict that shows no signs of ending.

Here’s the savage truth:

- bjp rules the states topping the sexual assault charts
- Modi makes grand safety promises in opposition states
- Real women keep suffering while politicians score points

Promising to protect Bengal’s women sounds noble — until you look at the places bjp already controls. Empty slogans don’t stop assaults. Governance does. And right now, the numbers tell a story the speeches never will.
