
Rekha Jhunjhunwala, wife of Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, known as warren buffett of India, has sold almost half of her husband's stake in Nazara technology to 3.6 percent through open market transactions. According to a regulatory filing, Jhunjhunwala reduced his stake in this gaming and esports firm by about 1.4 percent on june 9-10, 2025, that is, sold 12,36,500 shares.

Earlier, he had sold 17,38,500 shares (1.98 percent of total share capital) of Nazara Technologies between june 2-6, 2025. With this, now his stake in Nazara Estate has reduced from 7.05 percent to half i.e. 3.66 percent. Apart from this, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has 32,08,620 shares in Nazara technology Limited as of today after the sale of 12,36,500 shares on june 9, 2025 and june 10, 2025. That is, 3.6621 percent of the issued and paid-up share capital of the company.

However, the filing did not state at what price the shares were sold. Today, on Wednesday, the gaming firm's shares were trading at Rs 1,273.50 on the BSE, up 0.47 per cent from the previous close price. The company's stock has jumped more than 15 per cent in the last one month.
