A few months back, tamil cinema was flooded with 'Saving Farmers' kinda movies and now the lanes have turned to saving lower caste people. All the recently released movies showcase as if Lower Caste people are getting bashed and they are straight from heaven, while the upper caste people are straight from hell. Suriya clearly understood this politics and he wanted to make use of it for his own gain.

Earlier, in 'Soorarai Potru' movie, he did the same with the protagonist as he took linerties for the sake of narration and he basks in the spotlight. Now, he changed the caste of the villain in 'Jai Bhim' and this is definitely bad and he must apologize. When DMK guys shouted for showcasing a wrong date in 'Karnan' movie, why don't Vanniyars have the liberty to do the same for 'Jai Bhim'?

And the same Suriya is now producing a movie 'Viruman' with director Muthaiah who is known for shaping casteist movies. Similarly, santhanam made a clear cut speech confessing that no one should be degraded or upgraed in cinema as it means for entertainment. In fact, he said, as I am a Hindu I can't speak high of hinduism and speak low of Christianity.

But, immediately this speech made santhanam as a bad guy and hatred and venow was shown against him. Just retelling the same dialogue which Suriya said in jai Bhim, both Good and Bad exists in all caste and all sections of the society. Don't make a person bad and dumb, just because he is from a higher caste society.
