Birbal was very fond of chewing tobacco which was a habit disliked by King Akbar One day both Akbar and Birbal were strolling. A donkey was also grazing There in a tobacco filed.
It did not eat the leaves but just smelt them And went back. Seeing this Akbar commented,
“Look, Birbal, Even donkeys do not like to chew tobacco.” Birbal turned around,
looked at Akbar and replied, “Yes My Load, Donkeys do not chew tobacco.” Akbar understood the dig and smiled sheepishly
