Bollywood actress jacqueline fernandez has gotten a big relief in the 200 crore money laundering case. The patiala House court on tuesday granted bail to the actress on the condition of furnishing a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh and one surety in the like amount. On november 10, the decision was reserved after Jacqueline's bail was argued in court. At the same time, now the actress has been given conditional bail. The actress was out on bail in this case on interim bail.
Jacqueline had been in trouble ever since her name was linked to a 200 crore money laundering case with thug Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The Enforcement Directorate had named the actress as an accused in its charge sheet. At the same time, the actress was also questioned many times regarding the expensive gift she received from Sukesh. Since then, the actress was on interim bail. But in the hearing held on november 11, the ED opposed it, saying that Jacqueline could tamper with the evidence or flee abroad.
The ED had opposed Jacqueline's bail saying that the actress had siphoned off Rs 7.14 crore and had enough money to flee abroad. As such, they should not be granted bail. At the same time, Jacqueline had accused the ED of harassing her. The court had permitted Jacqueline to go abroad that she can go abroad with permission from the court. At the same time, now Jacqueline has gotten a big relief from the patiala court in the money laundering case.
Please tell that ED had told that Sukesh chandrasekhar had given gifts worth Rs 5.71 crore to Jacqueline. An amount of Rs 1.3 crore was given to Jacqueline's family and Rs 15 lakh to the writer of a web series to write the script on Jacqueline's behalf. At the same time, Jacqueline had told the ED that Sukesh also gave her Veen alkaline water bottles, a limited edition perfume, three cats worth nine lakh each, and an Arabian horse worth 52 lakh every week.
