Due to COVID times, the project had to be stopped.

Following COVID, things evolved. Because samantha had a larger market and potential, the director wanted to replace sara ali khan as the heroine. It is said that samantha consented to doing it. The box office was not performing as expected, and producer Ronnie Screwala left the production because he did not want to take a chance with anything.

After addressing numerous producers, adithya Dhar was able to persuade mukesh Ambani. Vicky Kaushal's market wouldn't support the project, thus jio made the decision to replace him. samantha gave up because the project was not progressing.
