With Shaakuntalam, samantha produced one of the worst films of not just her career but of tollywood as a whole. sam was rudely shocked by the picture, which is a box office failure of enormous proportions. Samantha's old wounds, however, have now were rekindled when Shakuntalam made its OTT premiere last night. Last night, the movie had its quiet debut on amazon Prime. Following its OTT premiere, Shakuntalam is once again making headlines as samantha and the movie are being criticized by online users for having terrible material.

Some people are even uploading troll-worthy portions of the movie and making fun of the people involved. sam is currently having to face the music once more. Her hectic schedule with kushi and the Citadel adaptation suggests that she has moved on.
