Vijay's 'Theri' which released yesterday is doing a good show biz at Box-office. The movie has earned One crore on day one and it became the first ever Tamil movie to do so. However on other hand, the movie faces piracy threat. Within 24 hours of release, a good print is released on net.

Producers Council who vented their anger on a media channel is just keeping muted response against this illegal thing. The torrent is still not blocked and it is going viral. The total number of downloads has crossed more than 100,000+.

Despite desperate measures taken by Vishal, the piracy threat has never subsided. On other hand, most of them feel that theatre owners and producers themselves are reasons behind this piracy. The first day tickets were sold at Rs.500 in most of the screens.


So most of them feel that instead of wasting 500 bucks, it is worth to waste 700 MB bandwidth. Also most of the single screens doesn't have proper maintenance and they just stink. Family audience feel uncomfortable to watch the movie in such theatres. Let's hope some stern action is taken against the pirated releases in future,
