According to sources in a gruesome incident, famed producer of Tamil films like 'Vaayai Moodi Pesavum', 'Kaaviya Thalaivan' and 'Pugazh' was stabbed yesterday by two men. Meanwhile the tragic incident had occurred around evening according to Varun's advocate N.Purushotaman. Varun entered the office elevator around 4pm when two individuals obstructed him and got into the lift as well.
Sources have stated that the workers Balamurugan and Muthukumar had come to the building to do some electrical work when the duo had reportedly got into an argument with Varun. Moreover after this, the pair stabbed Varun with a screw driver which the producer tried to block and ended up sustaining injuries owing to the same.
Currently the perpetrators of the crime are
detained in the Saidapet police station and are being investigated. This
incident has occurred when Varun's marriage with Kanikha Kumaran, the
granddaughter of politician K.P Kandasamy is just a month away.
